Photogrammetry

For the precise, three-dimensional digitisation of medium to large objects, we rely on the photogrammetry process. Photogrammetry is based on photographic exposures from different perspectives. Based on this data, a three-dimensional point cloud is calculated, the digital master. From this, the 3D geometry is finally reconstructed and simultaneously provided with a colour-true surface texture. Extremely high geometric resolutions can be achieved by means of photogrammetry, so that even the smallest detail becomes visible.

About

Ralf Meyer has been involved in photogrammetry and the digital recording of cultural assets for many years. As a trained photographer, he is very familiar with the optical possibilities. However, it only becomes exciting for him when digital models and their development are required. He lives teamwork that includes the customers and is usually the most critical assessor of the results.
